If you have long aluminium profiles, the heat will be evenly distributed in the work piece so that the required temperature is not transferred away from the working area.
Please note:
Metal clamps and similar tools will absorb heat away from the working area. However, this problem can easily be prevented by using CC4000: Apply heat insulation paste around the
desired area, apply heat and proceed as usual.
